About two and a half years ago I thought it would be a great idea to start blogging. I don’t really remember what compelled me to want to do it, but I knew that if I didn’t choose a theme or topic with lots of writing potential then I would probably get bored of this rather quickly - I didn’t want this to be like the many other hobbies I’ve taken a fleeting interest in during my lifetime. Ha!
Coming up with what to write about has not been easy, especially when there are plenty of blogs out there covering all manner of interests already. And the thing is, I’m a pretty indecisive person as it is, so this part of the process was not going to be a quick decision. However, the challenge was set for me when my partner suggested I write 100 blogs in a year and they can be about anything. Just anything at all.
Okay.
Now that I see the challenge itself written down it doesn’t sound as though it’s been particularly useful in helping me decide what to write about. In fact, it hasn’t resolved my dilemma at all. But in a strange kind of way it makes me feel like I can do this. Simply setting a target of 100 posts over a one year period is maybe all I really need to get started. Perhaps an abundance of ideas will just naturally flow out of me in unexpected ways! I can only hope…
So, here we go, I’m diving in and doing the 100 Days to Offload Challenge!
